JALANDHAR, Feb. 12 ( vikas moudgil )-Seven day job fair commencing from Feb 15 will offer 5500 jobs to the unemployed youths of the district. Stating this here on Tuesday, additional deputy commissioner Jitendera Jorwal said the job fairs will be held at DAV institute of Engineering and Technology and CT Institute. The job fairs will ensure that youth becomes self reliant by opening new vistas of employment for them. He said that leading entrepreneurs from across the globe would participate in this mega job fairs and provide job opportunities to around 5500 unemployed youth in the region. Mr. Jorwal said that the job fairs were being organized under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of the state government.
He said that these job fairs would pave for realizing the dream of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide job to every unemployed youth of the state. He said that the youth must avail maximum benefit of these job fairs, which would be instrumental in opening new avenues of employment for them. Mr. Jorwal said that these job fairs aim at making the youth an active partner in socio-economic growth of the state by offering employment opportunities to them.
